First of all, I would like to thank those few who called to congratulate Masha and me and to apologize for not answering the phone.

Even more so, I thank those who did not dial the phone, but wrote email, or LJ comment, or that Facebook thingy instead. I see that you truly understand what we are going through right now.

And finally special thanks to my mother-in-law who flew from Boston for a weekend to see her granddaughters and gave me two nights off from diaper duty. This was the first good night sleep I got since Monday.

Q:Where are the pictures?

Q: Are they identical?
A: Yes

Q: How do you tell them apart?
A: Easy. Babies of this age come with bracelet that has their name and a single character identifier written on it. For improved usability the identifier is repeated in baby’s hat. A for Julia, B for Keira. While the ID letters may seem random, they are not. They are hash. It is a common practice, however, to remove the bracelets, along with the hat, when they get their own drivers license.

Q: Are you getting enough sleep?
A:No

Q: How is Masha?
A: She is getting better, but the recovery is supposed to take a few weeks.

Q: Are you registered?
A: Yes, we are. As a matter of fact, we are married.

Q: Sheldon! Do you have a baby gift registration and where is it?
A: Yes. Yielding to non-optional social convention, we have created a baby registry at http://www.myregistry.com/ for your convenience. To find it there, do a search on my last name.

Q: I can't use the myregistry.com. I don't want to register/hate the design/have strong religious objections against the site. What is your postal address?
